Community Outreach
The Catoctin Region of Guiding Eyes for the Blind enjoys opportunities to share the joy of puppy-raising with others. We visit nursing homes, schools, libraries and many other community gathering places with puppies of various ages. We also participate in a variety of festivals and pet fairs. These all are excellent chances for the puppies to experience new places and new faces as well as for the public to learn about GEB and its mission.
