Events & Directions

* Times listed are actual start times. Remember that you need to arrive at class at least ten minutes early to let your pup settle, and at events 15-30 minutes before.

Folks interested in the puppy raising program are invited to all events. We would be happy to speak with you about the program before or after classes/events.

Directions to Frederick County Library:

From 270 North: Exit 31A. Continue on Buckeystown Pike which becomes Urbana Pike which becomes South Market St which becomes North Market St. Turn right on East Church St. Turn right on North Carroll St. Turn right on East Patrick St. The library is on the left, with the alley to the parking garage right beyond it. The parking garage is on the right as you turn into the library. The meeting room is directly across from the parking garage, up the steps at the rear/side of the library.

From US-15 South: Take Opossumtown pike exit. Bear right onto Opossumtown Pike. Continue on Motter Ave which becomes North Bentz Street. Turn left onto West Church Street amd continue on East Church Street. Turn right on North Carroll Street. Turn Right on East Patrick Street. The library is on the left, with the alley to the parking garage right beyond it. The parking garage is on the right as you turn into the library. The meeting room is directly across from the parking garage, up the steps at the rear/side of the library.

Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ: 15 West Church Street Frederick, MD

From US-15 South: Take the 7th Street Exit. Turn Left on West 7th Street. Turn Right on North Bentz Street. Turn Left on West Church Street. Church is on the left with big Steps out front. The meeting room is on the right side of the steps down the walkway - door says social room.

Directions to Maryland School for the Deaf

Off Rt. 70 - take exit #54 (Market Street), head towards old town Frederick. At the second traffic light take a right turn onto Clarke Place. Proceed to the stop sign (1 block) and turn left onto S. Carroll Street. Proceed past the Maryland School for the Deaf (look for the water tower) and turn left into Hessian Alley. The gym is on the left and parking is along the building, (this is the elementary school gym building). If you are coming from old town Frederick down Market Street pass the Maryland School for the deaf and look for the traffic light at Clark Place, turn left then follow directions as above.
